One-To-One 12.15.2024.The meeting of Grace Christian Church. We meet in person and stream services every Sunday at 10:30 AM EST in Manalapan, New Jersey.
- Obedience to the Spirit: Discipleship starts with the Holy Spirit prompting believers to connect with others. These connections are Spirit-led, not humanly orchestrated.
- Guided discovery: Like Philip guiding the eunuch, personal meetings involve listening, teaching, and sharing scripture in a Spirit-led, gentle way.
- Spiritual fruit: When guided by the Spirit, these interactions lead to transformation, such as baptism and deeper faith.
- Availability over ability: God doesn’t require special qualifications—just a willingness to be used.
The speaker calls on the church to prioritize one-to-one discipleship, listen for the Spirit’s guidance, and act on opportunities to help others grow spiritually. Training on this approach will be offered soon to empower believers for this mission.
