Growing Into Christ-Likeness (Part 1) 4.12.2025
The meeting of Grace Christian Church. We meet in person and stream services every Sunday at 10:30 AM EST in Manalapan, New Jersey.
Spiritual growth, the process of becoming Christ-like, involves
- being conformed, transformed, and formed into Christ’s image (Ephesians 4:15, Romans 8:29, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Galatians 4:19),
- living from His supernatural traits like peace and love (Galatians 5:22-23), which remain steady unlike human characteristics (2 Corinthians 12:10).
We contain all these traits, don’t need to produce them, and they meet every need as Christ, the “I AM,” supplies them (Colossians 2:9-10, John 6:51, Philippians 4:19, John 14:6). Without growth, we remain spiritual children, self-focused, bound by fleshly behaviors like control, and trapped in turmoil, deception, and missed promises (Ephesians 4:14, Romans 7:14-15, Galatians 5:1), risking resignation, hopelessness, and hardened hearts. This supernatural journey is vital to reflect Christ, find freedom, and avoid misery, transforming struggles with peace, patience, and forgiveness.
