The meeting of Grace Christian Church. We meet in person and stream services every Sunday at 10:30 AM EST in Manalapan, New Jersey.

Core MessageIn the spiritual realm, unlike the physical world, there is no preparation needed to believe in Christ, follow Him, or be used by Him. All that is required is a simple choice to choose Christ. Christ is the sum of all things spiritual.God’s Ultimate Desire for Believers

  • God wants to live His life through us — in us and through us.
  • He desires to use our gifts and talents to advance the Body of Christ.
  • God is looking for people through whom He can do the impossible (A.W. Tozer quote).

Three Progressive Grace Choices

  1. Grace Choice #1: Follow Christ
    • Many Christians are saved but remain spiritually stagnant because they do not actively follow and seek Christ.
    • Worldly priorities (money, career, family activities, busyness) often take precedence.
    • Example: The rich young ruler (Matthew 19:21-22) — Jesus called him to forsake worldly pursuits and follow Me.
    • Application: Change priorities from law-keeping and worldly things to seeking and following Christ daily.
  2. Grace Choice #2: Come to Christ
    • After following Christ, many still try to live the Christian life by rules, laws, and self-effort → leading to burnout and frustration.
    • Jesus invites: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28-30).
    • Results of coming intimately to Christ:
      • Rest for your soul (mind, will, emotions)
      • Learning from Him (gentle and humble)
      • Realizing your union with Christ
      • Living without the heavy burden of rule-keeping
    • Shift from trying to live the Christian life → letting Christ live it through you.
  3. Grace Choice #3: Be Used by Christ
    • This is the natural outcome of the first two choices.
    • Being used by Christ is not based on your ability, seminary training, or qualifications — it is based on your availability.
    • Every believer is already an adequate minister of the New Covenant (2 Corinthians 3:5-6).
    • Example: Isaiah’s response — “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8).
    • Application: Choose to be available so Christ can minister through you to others (salvation, encouragement, healing, etc.).

Key Takeaways

  • All three choices are progressive and happen in God’s timing.
  • We are already living in the New Covenant of Grace — we just need to choose to experience and live it.
  • The Christian life is not about self-effort or rule-keeping; it is about Christ as our Source.
  • God wants to do the impossible through ordinary believers who make themselves available.
