Chapter One: Your Six Square Feet
Definition of “Growing Out” (Ephesians 4:15-16):
As we grow into Christ-likeness, we become more selfless and others-focused. The result is:
• God accomplishes specific works through you for others.
• These works help others grow spiritually.
• The whole body of Christ becomes healthy and full of love. Growing Out = Depending on Christ as your Source to accomplish the WORKS He prepared, in order to HELP others grow spiritually, become SPIRITUALLY healthy, and LOVE others.

- Your “Six Square Feet”:
God has given every believer a personal “spiritual territory” — anyone the Lord brings into your life so that through you He can accomplish His divine purposes.
This can be a family member, friend, grocery-store checker, phone customer-service rep, or total stranger. - Every person in your six square feet is a DIVINE OPPORTUNITY (Colossians 4:5):
Jesus treated every encounter as a divine appointment.
With God there are NO accidents — only DIVINE appointments. - Willingness to minister (Colossians 1:10):
Your willingness to encourage, share truth, or come alongside hurting people depends on how deeply you have been transformed into Christ-likeness and your true identity.
The deeper the transformation, the greater your desire and availability to be used by God.
Core takeaway of Chapter 1: Start living for others right where God has placed you — in the “six square feet” of people He brings into your life today. All you need is to be available; He supplies the power and the works.
